wer kann mir sagen wie ich sie am besten überwintere?

I am try to see if they are in pots or the ground?

Ok. So mine is in the ground but it survives winter to flower well..............


The most important thing is that this position has a very large conifer tree that grows over it so even in winter it remains dry. And low winter sun (if there is any) can also land here. I think that it is more important to try to keep this plant not too wet over the winter than worry about cold (what winter low temperature do you expect where you live?).

I live on the west coast from Germany, they calls Ostfriesland and the most of time it is very wet here.
Here in winter it is not freezing so strongly, mostly thus between -8°C to -12°C.

So, -8°C to -12°C is the worst that it can be, or is it the normal (average) temperature?

I googled Ostfriesland - Northern Germany? So if I am you I would keep it in a dry spot outdoors as much as I could. My experience of Digitalis and Isoplexis in a greenhouse during winter is that they suffer mildew easily. But if the weather is really cold you will have to make a decision. If it is fairly dry (but not dry enough to kill it) that will help. Also, it has hollow stems - cut them off in the spring if that is possible.

no, no that's not the normal (average) temperature.
As an example, at the beginning of January this year I have put my plants only in the cellar because there was frost.
Till then it was very warm for this winter even in December there were still very mild temperatures.

I have already cut off the old trunks. This is are new driving out.

What should I make now with the plant? The sprouts are not strong enough, to spend the winter around outdoors.
I think it's better to overwinter him also in the garage.

Meiner ist gut über den Winter gekommen.

Wie hast du ihn überwintert? Mein Kleiner ist dann doch noch eingegangen.

Er stand sehr lange draußen und dann kam er einfach in die Autogarage.
Allerdings war ja ein sehr milder Winter, mal schauen wie es dieses Jahr wird.
